The area covered by the Lincoln Mills Community Initiative is bordered by these streets:

• North - Max Luther
• East - Lee High Drive / I-565
• South - Pratt Ave.
• West - Washington St. plus Lincoln Village Housing Project

Within these boundaries are distinctive neighborhoods with distinctive needs, but with one common goal. For the purposes of this project, the Lincoln Mills area has also been divided up into different zones, or phases, each designated with a color: blue, orange, green, yellow, and pink. Each of these areas has at least one block captain, respondsible for letting people know about meetings and other activities. The block captains also serve as a point of contact for the community.
